The Freedom Fund Banquet was a great success. Over 200 people attended. These are some of the pictures from the event, more to come.
The Freedom Fund Banquet is an annual community event organized by the NAACP’s local branch. It’s intended to bring together community members, local leaders, advocates, and stakeholders to celebrate civil rights achievements, honor individuals and organizations advancing justice and equality, and raise funds to support the branch’s ongoing advocacy work, programs, and youth scholarships.
Honorees & Awards
Deputy Figueroa was honored at the 2025 banquet for her “outstanding mentorship, youth advocacy, and community engagement”
Dr. Clint Mitchell attended and commented that the banquet was “a joy” and praised its fellowship and community spirit
